Who runs BVCA, today and next
A membership body is only as good as its independence. Here is where BVCA stands, and what has to happen before it issues any designation.

BVCA was set up in 2026 by Valuation Group Pty Ltd (ABN 48 702 469 252), which administers it today. Valuation Group Pty Ltd also provides business valuation services.
That is a conflict of interest for a membership body that assesses valuers. A valuation firm should not decide who gets a professional designation, least of all for its own people. So we say it up front, and BVCA will not issue any designation until the structure below is in place.

A majority of members with no business, employment, family or shareholding ties to Valuation Group Pty Ltd or its owners. Their names will be published here.
Admissions panel
Assessors independent of Valuation Group Pty Ltd who test every application against the published criteria.
Written rules
A constitution, a code of conduct, a conflicts policy and a complaints process that can suspend or remove members, all published on this site.
Same rules for founders
Anyone connected with Valuation Group Pty Ltd applies like everyone else and is assessed by people with no ties to them.
